Belize Baboon Sanctuary

The Black howler monkeys or baboons as the locals call them, can be viewed this close in Belize

 

24 Miles from Belize City in the village of Bermudian Landing
is the "Baboon Sanctuary" the home of the Howler
Monkey.
Along the way you will pass through several villages by the
river valley.
The Baboon live among the trees by the river side a guide
will take you through a nature path to meet them, you can
even greet them with a hand shake or a mild caress. It is
best if you bring along with you comfortable clothes and
shoes, bug spray, sunscreen lotion, water and a
adventurous spirit.

The itinerary;
We will pick you up at the designated spot, and then a fully
guided tour to the Baboon sanctuary. The local guide takes
over the tour for 1 hour. After that we head back to the
designated spot.
